J. Lohr owns 3,000 acres of California Vineyards, including 2000 acres in the Paso Robles region where they have now added a state-of-the-art, 756 kilowatt single-axis tracking solar photovoltaic system. The vineyard installed 4,320 modules on ground-mounted arrays that track the sun from east to west, significantly increasing energy output.
Conergy installed a 11.26 MW solar farm on the sprawling Newton Farm in Dorset, United Kingdom. The solar panels are offering a cost savings to the farm as well as reducing CO2 emissions by over 5,000 tons annually — the equivalent of taking 1,060 passenger vehicles off the road.
Conergy installed a 1.5 megawatt solar installation on Sutter’s Landing Park, a regional recreation area in Sacramento, California. The Sutter’s Landing Regional Park and solar installation are built atop a former landfill that was previously deemed un-useable and offers a covered carport in the main parking area.
