Agreement engages Conergy for its end-to-end solar services: Project Development, EPC and O&M

First project sale of a fully operational solar plant for Conergy in Asia

TOKYO, Japan, February 28, 2017 - Conergy Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Conergy, has signed an agreement for the sale of a fully operational 3.75MWp solar plant in Sannohe, Aomori Prefecture.

As the number of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in the U.S. grows, the number of PV systems outliving their warranty coverage grows as well. This is giving rise to a new industry of solar asset management (AM) companies tasked with managing commercial and industrial solar assets, as well as operations and maintenance (O&M).

Once your company has decided to go solar, it's time to think about how you are going to manage the installation and upkeep of your solar power system. Since solar isn't your main business but rather a way to cut costs and help the environment, you shouldn't be expected to handle all the details surrounding your solar installation. Too often companies try to keep their solar asset management in-house, and wind up spending more money than is necessary for the installation and management of their solar power.
